L33tout asset




Always wanted to join the high ranks of the famed scriptkiddie scene? Are you planning to deliver content in true garbled crap fashion? Do you know how to 5pE@k l33T, but your lazyness, impatience and hubris are getting in your way of expressing yourself in |_e3T fashion? Then this asset might be your holy grail!

Operating just like the well know Page layout asset the L33tout asset will allow you to place any kind of asset on it, converting all your human readable to real leetspeak as it is being viewed.

The wealth of configuration options will assure maximum adaptability to your specific situation.


This asset need the following perl modules to be installed:

  • Acme::Tie::Eleet
  • HTML::TreeBuilder

Install with:

    perl -MCPAN -e"install Acme::Tie::Eleet"
    perl -MCPAN -e"install HTML::TreeBuilder"

0) Make sure the dependencies are installed on your system.

1) Untar the archive in the directory containing your webgui root, eg. the directory in which you also untar when upgrading webgui.

2) Go to the webgui lib directory (that is, do cd WebGUI/lib) and run the following command

    perl -MWebGUI::Asset::Wobject::L33tout -e"install" <configFile> ..

Substitute <configFile> for the config file of the site you want to add the asset to. Also do not forget the two dots at the end of the command!

3) Restart apache.
