Booth Setup
Image

This is how our exhibit booths always start. We get the floormats installed and the pop-up backdrop. Then we begin building out the rest of our booth. Usually takes about an hour to get the basic components all setup.

This has been a very popular design for us and the projector is a very eyecatching thing when used with a black backdrop. We always get a lot of compliments on our booth design and are able to draw a crowd most of the time.

It's hard to show just how many Gooey dolls we have crammed into the display. So we've included several pictures in an attempt to accomplish this. There are over 2000!

You can begin to see just how many we brought with us to ad:tech 2009. It was our largest amount to date and we still gave them all away!

Tavis overwhelmed by the sheer number of Gooeys. You may not know this but Tavis (aka "Tavisto" on IRC) is the world's foremost expert on Gooey Exhibit Design & Construction. Most of the 2000 Gooeys are adjusted and aligned into the proper "eyes forward" design.

Gooey is a marketing genius and he likes to hang off every structure we have. In addition, you'll commonly find him taking over other people's exhibits, tables, truss, and lighting rigs.

This is a photo from floor level. This gives you a better idea of how high and how many there are. The pile was almost 4 foot tall in some places.

Tavis found out how scary it is to lie down next to the Gooey pile. There's nothing worse than being at the bottom of a Gooey avalanche.

JT and Tabitha from Plain Black were on hand to answer questions, hand out Gooeys, and give live demos. Tavis was there as well and took many of these photos.
