The Disciple Nations Alliance began in 1997 as a joint initiative of Food for the Hungry International. (www.FH.org) and the Harvest Foundation (www.harvestfoundation.org) to envision and equip local churches worldwide to fulfill their strategic role in the transformation of communities and nations.

In 2008, the Disciple Nations Alliance, Inc. formed as an independent organization. As a global movement, there are no headquarters. The Disciple Nations Alliance is comprised of individuals, churches, and organizations that are drawn together by a common vision and purpose, as well as adherence to common core beliefs and operational principles.
