In what way(s) do you contribute to WebGUI or the WebGUI Community?
I have done some security audits and I am currently working on a contribution that `ll be
released in a couple of weeks.
When did you first hear of WebGUI?
first seen & downloaded on freshmeat in an early 0.x release.
first tested in an 3.x version - first used in 5.x
How and when did you get involved in WebGUI?
I was looking for an open source cms for my work - as a perl hacker I found WebGUI
and I liked the way it worked. Since then I built some projects for
friends. Some time later I began to develop business projects.
Are you paid to work on WebGUI?
Yes, in my job and for freelance projects.
How much time do you spend on WebGUI?
Totally depends on projects and free time.
What do you think is still missing from WebGUI or the WebGUI Community?
From 6.x on I think a stable API is still missing ... :)
What keeps you motivated to keep working on WebGUI?
The clearly structured sourcecode and the easy handling for content managers and
active development.
What's WebGUI's killer feature and why?
There are lots of killer features, I like the API. And the flexible
Collaboration System.
What's WebGUI's greatest weakness and why?
The installation process (without wre).
What makes you work on WebGUI over the competition?
sourcecode qualitiy & nice api & active development
What's your most brilliant WebGUI hack?
Its the biometric auth I¥ve written for a costumer. Of course the whole
extranet application is my best hack :)
Have you attended the WebGUI User's Conference?
Unfortunately not - but next time I `ll be there.
