I want to offer Free information, for registering on the site.
I'm sure that many of you have seen this tactic used, and I would like to know how to implement the following:
1. Display a page offering the Free Content, and in the process, request that they complete the registration on-line. This can be done with a Macro, I am just not sure what the Macro is called.
2. After the the user has provided their contact information, redirect them to a new page, displaying the free information. I am not sue if the registration process logs in the new user, or if you recommend that they get an email for the registration completion (sounds like this is more formal a process).
I have a few sites developed, but I have not played with registering a user in the page, and then displaying a new page upon it's completion (perhaps a Thank you for registering, check your Email to finalize your registration).
Any Suggestions?
