I'm having trouble getting these two to play nicely together. Basically, description.first.paragraph uses carriage returns in the HTML source to determine where each paragraph ends (is there a reason why it doesn't use the <p></p> tags?) However, TinyMCE seems to be stripping out all unnecessary whitespace (including carriage returns) as part of its tidy up, effectively causing the whole article to be considered as a single paragraph. If I update this in TinyMCEs source editor, the carriage returns are gone the next time I open the source editor. How can I turn this mis-feature off. --- (Edited on 8/21/2007 7:11 pm [GMT-0500] by editure) --- --- (Edited on 8/21/2007 7:14 pm [GMT-0500] by editure) --- |
