I used the "Tell A Friend" instructional demo found here on our site. All works very well except for one thing. If you click on the link from one page, email the link to a friend using the data form as described, and then try the same thing on a different page, the /\Env("HTTP_REFERER"); in the body of the form still shows the old link instead of updating to the current one you are trying to email. Any ideas as to why this form would still show the old link still? I'm completely perplexed.--- (Edited on 11/20/2007 3:36 pm [GMT-0600] by eleger81) --- |

That is probably browser level caching, and you're right, there's nothing you can do, except trying to disable it in the browser.--- (Edited on 11/20/2007 4:16 pm [GMT-0600] by colink) --- |

BTW take care with tell a friend, many email services do regard this as a form of spam. Take care. Ehab Heikal www.elmotaheda.com , www.mashy.com Quote: An eye for an Eye only helps make the whole world blind Gandhi --- (Edited on 12/4/2007 10:25 pm [GMT-0600] by ehab) --- |
