Hi, I am very new with this CMS and I am fighting with it since a while now. Today I decided to register here ... and hope to get in contact with some people who can give me some help.
I finally got it to create my own template, with pictures, adminToggle and navigation.
But I have problems with snippets. I want to include the footer and contact as a snippet. But it doesn't work. I only get the notice like "The URL footer was requested, but does not exist in your asset tree." And I don't know where to put it so it will be included.
Can someone help me? Thanks in advance.

In the macro, you don't put the "name" or title of the snippet asset, you put its URL.

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean.
I put this into the template:
And I get the answer "Invalid Asset URL". The Debug information tells me "The URL tissuelinkfooter was requested, but does not exist in your asset
tree."
Can you please explain, where I have to put the snippet with the TissueLinkFooter and how I have to integrate the link?
This system is not really easy to understand. But I try my best ...

When you edit the snippet, there is a field, called url. Just copy paste this value into your macro in the template. When you go to www.yourdomain.com/tissuelinkfooter will not exist, that's what it's looking for and www.yourdomain.com is your root (the place where WebGUI starts looking for folders and files based on their URL). But probably the snippet has a url like www.yourdomain.com/foldername/tissuelinkfooter, so you need to put in foldername/tissuelinkfooter into your macro.
I hope this is more clear

Oh, I think your code was not very complete, I only see:
TissueLinkFooter");
Are you using the AssetProxy macro? That's the most used macro for this kind of stuff.

yeah, actually there was also an "AssetProxy" before the "TissueLinkFooter". I think the system took it from here, so there is no conflict with the webgui that forum works on. *whistle*
Unfortunately there is no bb-code to put code in here without beeing "translated".
(sorry for my english, I hope you understand what I mean)

well more people have problem with pasting code here, but let me know whether it works. By the way, you don't need to quote your url.

Thanks for your advice. It worked like you told me.
Now I have a new question, but I am not sure, if I should open a new thread or if I can post it here. It has to do with the layout of my FlexMenu navigation.
I already wrote everything ... but then I was logged out and now I have to write all new. I created an own template for the FlexMenu, with pictures left beside the menu words, but the words are lying over the point and I can't find where to change the padding, so the words are right beside the pictures.
If you need a picture, please tell me and I send one.
EDIT: Where do I put questions about bilingualism?

To adjust the padding for the flexmenu, look under the Properties tab of the "Indent Nav" template in the Asset list. You'll see the "margin-left" settings in the Head Block section, which you can adjust so that the text does not overlap the images you have added. Good luck!
