Wrong use of Extras macro? (#11455)

Issue

If found this in the head tags of the Anonymous Registration template:

^Extras;yui/build/yahoo-dom-event/yahoo-dom-event.js

I think that's a bug. I know that using / macro like that can cause problems, for example ^/;folder should be ^/(folder);

So I figure it's the same story for the Extras macro, right?

^Extras(yui/build/yahoo-dom-event/yahoo-dom-event.js);

Found in 7.7.32 stable, confirmed in 7.8.13 beta.

rogier 3/4/2010 7:46 am	No, it works fine. For the / macro I know there is a possibility that it goes wrong, albeit a small possibility. Maybe for the extras folder it's not an issue. One more question: if this is a bug, should this have been picked up by the automated testing?

perlDreamer 3/4/2010 9:09 am	It's not a bug. The issue with the gateway macro is that when used incorrectly it breaks when used in conjunction with Prevent Proxy Cache. The extras macro doesn't use that feature because we don't care about caching stuff in extras. It should be the same all the time. Still, it would be nice, for the sake of consistency, if we never abutted macros like that. Maybe we'll fix it for style reasons in 7.9.
