New webgui.org layout busts the helpdesk  (#10566)
Issue

I can't access any of the controls on the right side of the screen because the helpdesk is wider than the viewing area of the new website.  I can't assign or change status.

This appears to be fixed. Can you confirm it is on your end?

Right side (Details box) still cut off in Firefox 3 and Safari 4.

I’m guessing we need to set the nested table div flow to auto or shrink the overall width of the nested table div.

In the meantime, an ugly workaround hack to use the Help Desk using Firebug is to:

1. Right-click on the background image to the left of “View All Tickets.”
2. Select the “Inspect Element” pop-up menu item.
3. Make sure that <div id="wginternalright"> is highlighted by clicking on it.
4. In the Firebug “Style” box, click on the 740px to the right of the #wginternalright width property.
5. Update that value to 900px.

Removing the navigation from the use/bugs page is a nice workaround for the site style.

However, the tracker itself, and all tickets still use the style _with_ the navigation.  If you go to a ticket URL directly, or open a ticket in a new tab, then controls are still broken.

I've changed it so the individual tickets will also display without the left nav.

I've inserted a div with style overflow:auto which will show up with the next release of helpdesk.
