Security
WebGUI is an OSI Certified Open Source Software, ensuring its high quality. Passwords are MD5 encrypted, and logins and content are served over SSL. WebGUI offers configurable user-level authentication against the WebGUI database or an LDAP server. The users and groups system controls access to site content and administrative functions.
Multilingual Content Management
WebGUI's internationalization features allow users to select the languages in which they manage content. WebGUI's translation server allows for new translations of the user interface, so new languages can be added and updated at any time. Users throughout the world can collaborate on content with others in their native language. Time and date displays can also be customized on a per-user basis to reflect the area of the world in which users are located.
