Sightings (Government) is a major portal website for the United States government which delivers information about current U.S. foreign policy and about American life and culture. It is produced by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of International Information Programs and is powered by the WebGUI content management system.

US Dept. of State: ECA

The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) website is powered by the WebGUI content management system. ECA is part of the U.S. Department of State and fosters mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries around the world. ECA accomplishes its mission through a variety of international programs based on the benefits of mutual understanding, educational exchange, and leadership development. ECA programs engage participants from a variety of backgrounds and specialties.

US Embassy VPP: Tobago

United States Embassy Virtual Presence Post (VPP) websites are used in foreign countries, cities, or regions where there is not a physical U.S. Embassy building. The purpose of the VPP site is to build a relationship with the citizens of the foreign region and the citizens of the United States.

The United States government is currently migrating all US Embassy websites and VPP Embassy websites to a consolidated WebGUI platform. The United States government currently has over 500 WebGUI websites and they are published in over 29 different languages.

US Embassy: The Hague

This is the official site of the U.S. Embassy in the Hague (Netherlands). All U.S. Embassy websites are being converted to run on a consolidated WebGUI platform. Currently, the United States government has over 500 WebGUI sites in over 29 different languages.

The Fulbright Program

The Fulbright Program at the US Department of State is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. The Fulbright Program provides participants -- chosen for their academic merit and leadership potential -- with the opportunity to study, teach and conduct research, exchange ideas and contribute to finding solutions to shared international concerns.

The Fulbright Program website is powered by the WebGUI content management system.

It offers residents the resources and exciting attractions of a metropolis, balanced with a more intimate, livable scale of a mid-size city.

Republic of Croatia

"WWW.HR - Croatian Homepage" is a project funded by Croatian Academic and Research Network - CARNet, developed at the Department of Telecommunications of Faculty of electrical engineering and computing (FER), University of Zagreb . This project offers two basic services:

  • Homepage of the Republic of Croatia , with basic information about Croatia,
  • CARNet's official directory of Croatian's WWW servers.

Together with the maintenance work on the project, every year significant content and technological enhancements, defined in the contract between CARNet and FER.

The project was started at the Department of Telecommunications out of the enthusiasm of several assistants on February 12th 1994. At the beginning of May 1996. WWW.HR becomes a CARNet funded project and is lead by Prof. Ignac Lovrek, Ph.D.

From May 2000. untill Septemeber 2003. project is led by Ass. Prof. Maja Matijasevic, Ph.D.

Since October 2003. Gordan Gledec, Ph.D. is leading the project. Igor Ljubi, M.Sc. is an associate on this project.

City of Valley, Alabama

The official website for the City of Valley, Alabama. Valley, Alabama was incorporated in 1980 combining the four textile mill villages of Fairfax, Langdale, Riverview, and Shawmut. We are located on Interstate 85 halfway between Montgomery, Alabama and Atlanta, Georgia. Valley is only 75 miles southwest of Atlanta-Hartsfield International Airport (Google Map) and 85 miles northeast of Montgomery Regional Airport-Dannelly Field (Google Map) Airport in Montgomery. Our population is 9,200. The city lies on the banks of the Chattahoochee River - the state border between Alabama and Georgia. Valley is an "Alabama Community of Excellence", one of only eight in the state.


The Slovak Republic

The Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic was established in 1969. The first Minister of Culture in the government of Slovak Socialistic Republic within Czechoslovakia Socialistic Republic became Miroslav Válek and continued in office up to year 1988.

The Role of the Ministry has formed from early beginning his existence, while his field of activity was characterized by extension service, art, national monuments, environment protection, publishing of non-daily newspaper, copyright, production and trade area. At present is Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic the central body of state administration of the Slovak Republic for national language, preservation of monumental funds, national heritage and library science, art, copyright and copyright laws, extension service and folk artistic production, support of cultural innovation for ethnic minorities, presentation of the Slovak culture and arts abroad, relations with churches and religious societies, media and audiovisual.

Keewatin Tribal Council

The Keewatin Tribal Council represents eleven member reserves located in Northern Manitoba. The mandate of KTC is to promote, advance and protect the interests of its eleven member First Nations, and is intended to maintain, strengthen, enhance, lobby for and defend the rights of northern Manitoba First Nations people within its jurisdiction.
