After the presentations at the WebGUI drink in Delft I was having a go at Thingy in 7.5.10 to see if I got it from seeing 3 presentations on the subject.
I knew I should be able to link different Things together, but I couldn't figure out how. Only after reading the spec I found that linking two Things together should be done by selecting a special 'Type'.
Since there are so many types to choose from I didn't find the special types.
Even after reading the spec up till page 5 I still couldn't find the link to 'Department' which I created. But I found it finally at the bottom of the types list.
Hence my request: make the linking to other Things a separate dropdown list that is called 'ThingLinks' or something.

Rejection of this RFE is fine by me, but then I would like to know on what ground.
Do you not agree that a list of 20+ types and then 2 special ones at the bottom is hard to use intuitively?
I made no comment on whether I thought it was easier or harder. I'm rejecting it because I don't want two separate fields, which is your request.
