In addition to 'open' and 'closed' status, it would be nice to have a 'pending' status that in indicates that someone is already working on it.It would be especially useful if this would be visible in the bug list.
Right now when you're working the bug list, you have to read the bug report and all comments to find out if someone is already working on it or not.

We can't do that with the current collaboration system. However, we're working on an actual bug tracking system that will be out this winter. it will have this feature.
