Planning an install for a college student association. A restricted option that would easily permit certain groups of users to modify a user's karma would be nice. I can see uses for this in my application since the faculty ould like to use karma to track the student's participation, and also thought it would be good to use the karma log to acknowlege other student actions. I know that the admins can directly edit the karma of a user, but I do not want to permit all faculty advisors to have admin privileges on the system. A drop down or a macro that would allow Prof Putz to award student Smith 100 points for association activities other than website activity would be great. thanks Kevin

kristi 11/18/2008 1:11 pm	There is an experimental karma gifter on webgui.org that is currently in use. It would allow your users to do exactly what your RFE requests.
