The Center for Distributed Learning (CDL) at California State University provides high quality, customer focused leadership and project development in support of the CSU Academic Technology initiatives. The center provides logistical, process, and development support to projects. CDL focus is to identify learning-related problems and apply technology to support good teaching. The services are provided to projects that have the potential to reach many faculty and students at California State University, around the country, and around the world.
The CDL was founded in 1997 in response to the California State
University's Integrated Technology Strategy. Our work supports faculty
and students through the development and dissemination of tools and
strategies which employ the web and related technologies.
The CDL uses WebGUI for many of its web-based projects and they utilize many of the professional services offered by Plain Black Corporation. (hosting, support, training, and more.)
