Managed to break my webgui WRE install when upgrading my gateway from Debian Etch to Lenny - apache now segfaults constantly.

So as there are no debian packages at all I thought I'd compile from source:

Was going okay too, until it got to the Image::Magick compile and spat out the following error.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Running Mkbootstrap for Image::Magick ()
chmod 644 Magick.bs
rm -f blib/arch/auto/Image/Magick/Magick.so
LD_RUN_PATH="/data/wrebuild/source/ImageMagick-6.5.2-8/PerlMagick/../magick/.libs:/data/wrebuild/source/ImageMagick-6.5.2-8/PerlMagick/../wand/.libs:/usr/lib" cc  -L../magick/.libs -lMagickCore -L../wand/.libs -lMagickWand -shared -O2 -L/usr/local/lib -L/data/wre/prereqs/lib -L/data/wrebuild/source/ImageMagick-6.5.2-8/magick -L/data/wrebuild/source/ImageMagick-6.5.2-8/wand -L/data/wre/prereqs/lib -lfreetype Magick.o  -o blib/arch/auto/Image/Magick/Magick.so      \

Anyone able to point me in the right direction to fixing this?  I'm a little confused as to what it needs.  Looks like it's trying to link in perl or something?

I have had exactly the same problem. I have however compiled a debian etch version that works just fine on lenny.

I have sent the url for the debian etch compiled version of WRE to plainblack. In the mean time you can download it here.
