Hi, I'm running with WRE 0.7.1 and WebGUI 6.99.5 and when I start webgui with the rc script I get the following error: ADMIN: [Error] Spectre cannot communicate with WebGUI for www.prospectusgroup.net.conf, perhaps you need to adjust the spectreSubnets setting in this config file. --- (Edited on 6/27/2006 6:07 pm [GMT-0500] by cheecheeo) --- |

It means: 1) Your webgui instance is trying to connect to spectre on other than the default 127.0.0.1 2) webgui.log should also tell you... 3) the error message tells you to change the spectreSubnets in your www.domain.com.conf 4) you should make sure the spectreSubnets cover the IP address of the webgui machine. While you're at it, make certain that your spectre.conf's port matches your domain.conf's spectre ports.

Solved, I was connecting to a MySQL instance on another machine and I needede to add that "subnet" (and only that subnet for some reason) to the spectreSubnets in the .conf file.
