This new WRE release fixes the JSON related troubles people have been experiencing.
Background: WebGUI and the WRE both heavily rely upon a library called JSON, which is provided by a third-party. Unfortunately the maintainer of that library chose to change the API without any backward compatibility period. This was out of our control, and ultimately caused WebGUI administrators a lot of headaches.
If you are using WebGUI 7.4.21 or below then you should continue using WRE 0.8.1. If you want to upgrade to WebGUI 7.4.22 or above, then you should use this new WRE 0.8.2. To upgrade from an older release of WebGUI to a version that works under WRE 0.8.2 do the following:
0.8.2
- Added an option when creating sites to specify a custom database name.
