I get this error on running the upgrade script on one site only on the server. Tried re-running (after going back to backups) and same error. Updating packages.
What would be the problem that would likely cause this ? Other sites on server are fine.

My first thought was that the downloaded binary was corrupt, but if other sites went through the process fine that can't be the case. I would check the database tables for that site, by running myisamchk on them.

No problems with myisamchk. I also thought that about the pkg, but it must be ok, as the other sites were upgraded ok, before and after this site failed. Checking these assets against mysql I noticed they all had same parent Asset. They also were relating to two old wobjects (an Amazon and PhotoGallery) that were not being used on the site anymore. At least as far as I could tell. I've deleted these 4 assetId's from the asset table, and the upgrade works ok (As you would expect). Hope this will work ok, or is there another fix I should try before just deleting them from the asset table in the DB ? Chris --- (Edited on 3/16/2010 12:19 pm [GMT-0500] by fishingfan) --- |

Take care when manually editing the database directly you will most probably do more damage. I has similar issues long ago and edited the database directly and that only made my site unstable for months for no apparent reason. WebGUI schema is not simple understand it fully before any deletes.
