I am using WebGUI 7.7.19. I am building up a website, where any user has to log in first and then should see to the Default Home Page defined in the Settings. Instead of showing the home page, the browser shows the icon I uploaded. After clicking the browsers back button you get the correct Home Page. The strange behaviour started when I changed the User Function Style to my own Style template. Did anybody encounter the same problem and how did you resolve it? --- (Edited on 2/19/2010 3:36 am [GMT-0600] by christian_g) --- |

How did you manage it? Security of any content is "Who can view? -> Registerd Users". And on the default homepage one article that could be seen by visitors and contains the login marco? --- (Edited on 19-February-2010 11:17 [GMT+0100] by Klaus) --- |

Klaus: I managed it by setting the stylesheet, the style template, the page layout template and all the images I use on the loginpage to be accessible by Everyone. The Homepage can be viewed only by members of a defined user group. I had a second little problem with the stylesheet link in the link head tags. I set the link to href="my_stylesheet.css" instead of href="/my_stylesheet.css". Can Anybody explain me why There must be a / before? --- (Edited on 2/19/2010 5:08 am [GMT-0600] by christian_g) --- |

Relative vs. absolute URLs? Gateway setting issues? It could be either of those, or potentially more. --- (Edited on 2/19/2010 3:08 pm [GMT-0800] by perlDreamer) --- |

A comparable effect I got as I tried out the StoryArchive. After login the "viewRSS" page of the new object was shown. After cutting and pasting the (complete) page again every thing is ok. Why this worked and what was wrong, I don't know.

One thing to always try is to clean both webgui's cache (in the admin console) and your local browser's cache. It's amazing how strangely something wrong or old in either place can cause a problem. --- (Edited on 2/22/2010 13:15 [GMT-0800] by susanb) --- |

You're definitely right. In this case however, I'm sure, cleaning the cache didn't bring anything, since the effect lasted a lot of cache cleanings. Inspired by this thread, I cutted the page, which genererated the effect, saw everything was ok and pasted it back. Since then, I'm wondering what happened... --- (Edited on 23.02.2010 00:09 [GMT+0100] by martien) --- |

and then I saw today, the effect was back again... Looking for the reasons, I found old entries in the table "userSessionScratch":
Questions are:
To me, it seems to be a bug, so I'll report it as such.
