I have created a new article template that I want to be the default article template for my entire site. However I can't figure out how to set it as such. Everytime I create a new article it defaults to using the 'WebGui Default Article' template. I know I can manually change it each time I create a new article on the display tab but I would like to set it so I don't have to and so that less adapt users don't have to worry about this. I know you can do this with other templates: For example you can set the style template under 'user function style' on the UI tab under settings. And I know that once you select the page template any new pages created under that will use that page template. But how do you set the article template? You can create a Prototype for this. On the metadata tab, change Prototype to Yes. Once it's a prototype it shows up on the "New Content" pane under Prototypes. A prototype lets you pre-configure an asset and use it multiple times. Alternatively, you can override the field in the config file. See etc/WebGUI.conf.original and look for "assets".
