A few days ago, I poised a question about an online application.  The response about the data forms was dead on target (maybe something that will get worked on??).

I've decided (with the guidance of the customer), to focus on using a PDF From for the employment application.  Now I can post the regular file on the website, but I want to know how to display the PDF form so that the user can edit the form, and then submit it to an email address.

I have seen sites that display the form, allow you to complete the data, and then submit it to HR.  Can we do this in WebGUI?  Seems feasible.

 I don't know that webgui would really be involved in the process. You will need to get Adobe Acrobat Professional (NOT the reader) to create the form within the pdf. You have to give each field a name and create a submit button that points to a processor on your web server. If you have Acrobat Professional, you can go to one of the forms you've seen, save it, and view it in professional to see the fields. Just google adobe acrobat forms and you should find lots of tutorials on it. There's probably even a free program you can use to process the form and send the email. You can also try a 30 day trial version of Adobe Acrobat Professional.
