This may seem like a dumb question, but what does "change recursively" do in branch edit. More specifically, what does it do when you DON'T change recursively? When I check "yes" for change recursively, it seems to change the page and everything under it, which is good. When I leave it checked "no" I can't figure out what changed. One thing I'd like to do is change everything below a certain page but not the page itself. Can I do that with branch edit? Thanks! --- (Edited on 1/29/2010 12:56 pm [GMT-0600] by troutdream) --- |

Change Recursively is just a safety measure. If it's "No", nothing will change at all. If it's "Yes", it will change. Currently, no, you can't just change everything below a page. You have to change the page as well. A "Batch Edit" would be a nice feature to have (enhance Edit Branch to edit multiple assets at once, not just down the tree but in other ways). --- (Edited on 1/29/2010 1:10 pm [GMT-0600] by preaction) --- |
