WRE with qmail (qmailrocks installation)

I'm new to Webgui, but it seems very nice.

I'm running my web and mailserver out of the same box. I am going to setup a new box (backup) - based on Fedora 9 ,  Webgui (wre 0.8.3) and qmail (installation by qmailrocks to simplify). Since the qmail installation needs access to httpd.conf for keeping track of my virtuel domains it seems out of the question using WRE because of the httpd config files it creates and uses !

Will a clean installation from Webgui source, be able to co-exist with the qmail installation - I've read that the source installation uses 'standard' httpd.conf ?

BTW I have had no issues installing wre 0.8.3 on fedora 9 ,32bit(remember to patch spectre.pm and wremonitor)
