I noticed that it is not sufficient to copy new translations into /data/WebGUI/lib/WebGUI/i18n/<language> in order to have them updated. Restarting WebGUI is neither sufficient. What else do I have to do? The <language>.pm file is in place.

With the dutch translation I noticed that when you unpack it the dir structure becomes something like:

/data/WebGUI/lib/WebGUI/i18n/Dutch/

and in that dir is a dir named Dutch and the pm file. This is one level to deep. So I unpack it somewhere else and copy the dir Dutch and the .pm file into i18n

Restarting modperl should be enough. If it still doesn't wor, check whether the owner of the files and dir is the WebGUI user.

These were the problems I could think off, I hope it gives you a solution

Hi Bart,

Thanks for your help! Emptying the cache before restarting modperl finally solved the problem. At least I do get updated translations now. Can someone confirm that emptying the cache is indeed necessary? I think that would be worth a line in the wiki.

Hi,

well the templates are already renderend into html in the present sessions. So if you want to see it directly, emtying the cache will be necessary. It is however not necessary if you wait. But mostly you want to see it work, and with that basic assumption: yes it is necessary to clear the Cache.

Ok, I have added a line to the wiki. However, I am not sure if this is the right place.
