Just trying to import a couple of hundred records from a CSV file into a Thingy. Seems to work great except for the date field, where all the dates are coming in as 01/01/1970. What format do I need this in? I've tried dd/mm/yyyy, mm/dd/yyyy, yyyy-mm-dd to no avail. Thanks! --- (Edited on 30-06-2010 00:41:49 [GMT+0100] by xootom) --- |

I don't know the answer off the top of my head, but I know how to find out. Create a dummy thingy with a date field, and export it. That will be the format that it wants to use to import. --- (Edited on 6/29/2010 8:08 pm [GMT-0700] by perlDreamer) --- |

Ah good idea, should have thought of that myself ;) Just tried it and it exports as yyyy-mm-dd - however re-importing the export resets it to 01/01/1970 so must be the importer that's failing, will raise a bug. --- (Edited on 30-06-2010 07:14:48 [GMT+0100] by xootom) --- |

Was this reported as a bug? I'm running into the same problem. I've got a date field that after import of a csv will show the current date for all dates rather then the dates from the csv. This field is rather important. --- (Edited on 12/16/2010 8:44 am [GMT+0100] by Albert2) --- |

This is the bug I raised: http://www.webgui.org/use/bugs/tracker/11692 It looks like it was fixed in 7.8.23 and 7.9.9. Which version are you using? --- (Edited on 16-12-2010 09:12:01 [GMT+0000] by xootom) --- |
