Hi,
This is another feature I would like to have for the portal I am trying to build. Of course, there is a message board for users to exchange. What about displaying recent posts on the front page similar to http://www.crossgolf-portal.de (It is called "Letzte Forenbeiträge" at the bottom). Can this be done with shortcut assets? That is, can I create a shortcut to the message board and make it show only recent posts somehow?

I want to do the same thing to show 3 newest news items, I think it's possible doing it as an RSS feed to the Collaboration System?
I haven't done this yet though but will in a couple of weeks.

You are right. That should work. However, somehow I do not get an RSS feed icon in firefox when I am in the message board although I have enabled RSS for all fora. I checked the page source and could not find anything either. I know RSS works for single collaboration systems. So maybe that is a bug of the message board asset. Can someone confirm?

A general problem of summarizing latest posts by RSS feeds is that on gets a feed per collaboration system or forum in the message board. Currently, it does not seem to be possible to merge multiple feeds neither at the side of message boards nor wihtin the syndicated content asset. Any suggestions how to overcome this limitation?
