Hi lrobinson, I had more or less the same error. The conf file etc/spectre.conf tells you which IP addresses are allowed to connect to spectre. Even if 127.0.0.1 is in there, if the *main* IP address of your website is something else, spectre connection will fail. In that case, what you have to do (assuming you're running linux...), is to add the website address to /etc/hosts That way, the machine will realize that 127.0.0.1 is actually the correct address for the website.
