We need a forum for each major linux distro, so users like myself can post install issues related to only my distro. this would be a lot quicker than tring to search existing forums for distro issues I would like to see a forum for: Centos/Redhat EL I already have several stoppers for Centos 4.3 with latest WRE 7.0.7

I disagree. there are not enough postings in the install forum to fill five or six sub forums. We have nearly one new therad per day - or less. And I think there are not more than two or three threads per year that really refer to only one distro, all the other issues at install are distro independent. --- (Edited on 17-September-2006 21:42 [GMT+0200] by Klaus) --- |

I agree with Klaus. I suggest a sticky post in the install forum that lists which infomation (source or wre, OS, etc.) should be included to begin diagnosis of problems. My worry is that people on source builds may try to address WRE specific problems and vice-versa without knowing. --- (Edited on 9/18/2006 7:39 am [GMT-0700] by dhelsten) --- |
