i already know how to create a new site in webgui, but i am wondering if there is a way to duplicate a current site within webgui and make a whole new site? you know, i make a "template" site and then use that and make duplicate sites of the template site to where i only have to change limited amount of files instead of having to recreate the original site all over again... and no i am not speaking of making a package of the files in the template site and importing them into the newly created site - im talkin duplicating a complete site to make a mirror of the original that can be edited and will be a complete new site--- (Edited on 2/23/2007 1:46 pm [GMT-0600] by rjacobsen@mediak.com) --- |

In WebGUI terms, that's called a package. Check out the Wiki and the on-line help for all the details.--- (Edited on 2/23/2007 3:46 pm [GMT-0600] by colink) --- |

I to have been looking into duplicating my site, for upgrades and testing. What I will be doing over the next week or so is building a new Linux system, creating a virtual server (VS) using XEN and building my site under the VS. If this works out I should be able to just shutdown the VS, make a copy of it. Boot up the copy and change the IP address to create a second site.
