Hi, I'm a new webgui user, my host is using version 5.5.8 (they say it's very stable!). Anyways, I'm having a problem with the dataform (mail) where if I write arabic text in the title of the form or subject (textarea) it sends the mail with garbage encoding that can't be read BUT it's read very well in the site (only the e-mail is not encoded). I have changed the page language, translations, meta tags...etc all over to be "windows-1256" but still no hope. could this be a server side & if yes how can I fix this??? ps1: I'm on a Redhat linux using exim. ps2: I have been reading all over the net for this with no hope!!! --- (Edited on 3/ 1/2007 1:45 pm [GMT-0600] by Puncho) --- |

5.5.8 might be very stable, but it's also a very old version of WebGUI. You'll probably have a hard time finding help on here as it's not supported anymore. - --- (Edited on 2-March-2007 8:27 am [GMT+0800] by Jesse) --- |

Yes I thought so too, but I was hoping that someone would help me in this cause this is probably a server side problem. There is a contribution here for "Coding in header of the letter" but it still does not solve the problem :S Any help would realy be appreciated. --- (Edited on 3/ 2/2007 8:00 am [GMT-0600] by Puncho) --- |
