Hello.  We're having a problem with an article in WebGui 7.4.12 and I figured I'd ask here first to see if anyone else has had this problem.  We have two users set up, both with admin priveliges and set to Gurus.

On one computer everything is working fine.  However, when either of us sign in under the computer in the next room, we can add a new article, add the title, menu title, url, but can't add anything in the description!  It won't even let us click in the description box.  If either of us sign in on the first computer, all works fine. We tried clearing the cache, clearing temp files, etc. to no avail.  Spectre is still running fine as well.

Any ideas as to why we can't add anything in the description box on one PC and not the other?  We can add any other type of asset and the description box works fine (for example, if we add a new calendar we can type content in the description box, but can't for an article).  Thanks for your help!!!

So after some further investigation, this seems to be only an issue when we log in while using IE.  If we log in using the "problem" computer through FireFox, the issue of not being able to add content in an article is "fixed."

So, while using IE 7.0.x, certain computers will "lock" and not allow users to add content/description text to Articles even if you flush all caches and temp files, but this is not an issue if you log in using FireFox.  Is this possibly being caused by an error in the code somewhere?  It's totally confusing. Undecided
