Forgive me if this is common knowledge. I am trying to help a local heath club find a scheduling solution for their racquet ball courts, and tanning beds. We looked at a couple, but would much rather use webgui if it could easily be done with an existing or addon module.

We would like anyone to be able to view schedules, but only allow registered users to be able to add , and remove items. Email notification would be a big plus.

Is this possible with webgui? If so, is it documented?

Raymond

A calendar asset would allow you to provide a daily list of events- you could create a calendar for raquetball, tanning etc. In the display tab you would select the template to display the list view of events. This would also allow you to let everyone see the events, but only a certain group of users add them. However, there is no email notification in the default application.

The collaboration system does have a subscription feature, which would email subscribed users every time a new submission was made. So, a new schedule could be posted daily, and all subscribed users would receive that schedule daily. You would probably be able to create a template to display the data in the desired format. Again, you would have the ability to control who can see events and who can add them.
