We have a gallery with a large number of photos that people have uploaded. Would like to export whole albums of photos as an archive, then delete them from the site. Preferably as a zip file without manually saving each image file. Also as a side question are original image files saved, i.e. if the image is above 2880 width, is the full resolution one preserved?

The gallery doesn't include a handy way to do that. It will only import zip archives. Your next best bet it to try the Export As Html function, but it will export the HTML for the Gallery as well as the photos. --- (Edited on 3/21/2010 11:10 pm [GMT-0700] by perlDreamer) --- |

I was planning to check in the code but still have not. According to my experience, the size of images stored is limited to the "Image View Size" setting in the properties panel. I will try to confirm that next time I am doing some gallery coding work. Concerning the export feature, why not write an RFE? This could be very useful for others as well. --- (Bearbeitet ?? 04.04.2010 09:43 [GMT+0200] von kimd) --- |
