I have a lot of database links to other databases. Due to a change, many of those links are now invalid. As a result, I cannot manage my database links anymore from the admin menu. The page takes too long and then I get an empty response. I've tried connecting directly to the modperl server, but to no avail. Anyone know of way for me to delete the obsolete database links? --- (Edited on 11/8/2011 9:09 am [GMT+0100] by Albert2) --- |

As far as I saw int the original create.sql, databaseLinks only are used in SQL-Reports. So, if you had more DB-links, does that mean, you wan't use existing SQL-Reports any more?
in that case, I would empty the link fields in the SQLreport table and delete the contents of databaseLinks. Since that table isn't a asset/wobject table, I think it won't hurt. So phpMyAdmin seems to be your friend. --- (Edited on 2011-11-08 22:52 [GMT+0100] by martien) --- |
