I was wondering if it is possible to have a synopsis navigation show an attachment of an article within the display?
Page A contains the synopsis navigation. Underneath this structure is Page A1, Page A2 and Page A3. Each page will have 1 article and each article will have 1 image attachment. As the navigation is looping to poulate, it will grab these variables: tmpl_var page.menuTitle tmpl_var page.url tmpl_var page.synopsis Is there anyway to dynamically pull the page's article attachment in this loop? Something like tmpl_var page.article.attachment.url? |

The short answer is no. Currently article attachments are not assets so they are not accessible via navigation. JT On Jul 15, 2009, at 10:31 AM, <webguidev@plainblack.com> wrote: kurzo wrote:

What should this sysnopsis navigation look like? Something like: Link to Attachment A1 I'm asking this because I think for your purposes, it might be easier to use something other than an article to place the files. For instance the image asset, which has a synopsis of it's own. Then you could use a navigation or maybe a folder to display the files, with their synopses. Another way would be to use the synopsis of the page layout for the text and place only an image asset on the page. If you can give a more detailed description of what you want, I can tell you what the best way is of setting it up.
