Hi, before submitting a RFE I want to get opinions about this. It is twofold, so commentary can refer two one or tweo of the ideas. The first idea is that during a wre install, you get the choice whether you want to install other languages (problem is that not all languages are complete, so it might not really be good for WebGUI's reputation, so maybe a 100% language check at the i18n site might be necessary, which leaves at the moment only two complete languages) Second, during the creation of a site that you are able to choose a visitor and admin user language between all installed languages. I see (as indicated) some practical problems with the first idea. For the second part, it is not so hard to set it for a user, but it looks cool if you have the choice. Finally, I haven't a real clue on how much people are actually using different languages in WebGUI, so I would like an indication So shoot |

The current poll asks whether or not styles from the Bazaar should be available in the Site Starter, so having language packs and default user language choices available when initializing the WRE makes sense to me. As to language completeness, I don't think it would turn people off from installling them. Hopefully, it would get them to make more and finish what we have up there. |

Seems like a worthwhile RFE to me. I also wouldn't mind making the language packs part of our build process so they were just included by default but turned off in preload.exclude. |
