First of all compliments on the design, but as Colin states about wiki's in his message on the announcements ( http://www.webgui.org/web_design_templates_and_themes/webgui-site-redesign?pn=1 ) an overview of the forums is missing and it looks like the same has happened to the wiki. Maybe it's just a "I have to get used to it", but it might need discussion. --- (Edited on 22-June-2009 23:46 [GMT+0200] by bartjol) --- |

Overall, I like the new design. But my initial reaction to the "a wiki for each area" instead of a wiki for webgui is negative. I can foresee wiki pages being posted to the wrong wiki and also asking people to post something that overlaps two or more areas to be asked to post in multiple places. Or maybe PB staff will shortcut something between the wikis? Do wikis even support shortcutting of pages? (I base my belief that there are now separate wikis in that searching for a term, e.g. wre, brings up different results in the different wiki searches. ) Perhaps I too will just need to get used to it, but it seems like the opposite of what a wiki is to me. OTOH, if there is still just one wiki, and the searches are limiting the results to a particuar keyword, how can I search the whole thing? --- (Edited on 6/22/2009 15:35 [GMT-0700] by susanb) --- |

I agree with susanb. Instead of having their own wikis, should have one wiki. The links in the Design, Develop, Admin sections could link to the "byKeyword=..." page (so the Design link would go to the Design keyword). --- (Edited on 6/22/2009 6:06 pm [GMT-0500] by preaction) --- |

I agree too, but I fear that woever has control over this design isn't seeing this message, since it would be a lot of work to keep track of all forums and wiki's. :) Koen de Jonge - ProcoliX --- (Edited on 10-July-2009 17:49 [GMT+0200] by koen) --- |

That's why I posted a bug (too many wikis) against webgui.org and referenced this post, as well as a different bug. Susan B --- (Edited on 7/10/2009 09:01 [GMT-0700] by susanb) --- |
