I'm getting the following error message emailed to me from CRON by the wremonitor every 3 minutes, this is a recently installed fresh WRE 0.8.3 on RHEL 5:

Undefined subroutine &WRE::Spectre::jsonToObj called at /data/wre/lib/WRE/Spectre.pm line 226.

It doesn't seem to do any harm apart from send thousands of emails.

And when can we expect a new WRE release?  I see many source releases done since this bug was reported.


I have tried multiple times to get a source install working, failing miserably everytime.  The WRE installs and works perfectly, I really hate having to suffer and lag behind simply because I'm inept with the source install.

Isn't making things easier the whole idea behind webgui? (nudge..nudge.. hint.. hint. know what I mean?)

I've attached a patch file which can be applied from the wre/lib/WRE directory using the following command: patch -p0 < Spectre.pm.diff

I have just applied the patch, but now I get an email every three minutes saying:

  • A workflow activity has a priority that is too high.

Do you know how I can stop these?
