I use the RSS feeds from forums on the plainblack site.
Since a few days a lot of old (from a few days to years) threads appear as new. This happened every day with another several threads.
As reader I use Thunderbird, the feed URLs look like http://www.plainblack.com/etcetera?func=viewRSS
Looking at this.
Unable to replicate.
1. Added a syndicated content asset to a demo site.
2. Used the following feeds: http://www.plainblack.com/tbb.rss http://www.webgui.org/webgui/dev/discuss.rss
https://www.plainblack.com/plain_black_support.rss
http://www.plainblack.com/etcetera.rss
3. Saved. Committed tag.
4. Only strange thing I noticed was that the asset's title displayed twice on the page.
5. The items displayed in the syndicated content asset I created were all recent.
The old stuff appearing again was several months old. Not all of the old stuff appears, only a few old entries appear as new/unread ones.
Perhaps it happens with the updates to version 7.4.x. Seems like the update script or something else changes something so that the RSS reader (Thunderbird) thinks here is a new entrey in the RSS feed. I could not see a pattern nor have any idea how to reproduce the issue. The last 8 or 10 days it doesn't happen again.
