Inconsistency with date- & timeSubmitted.human in CS  (#4117)
Issue

In the collaboration system <tmpl_var dateSubmitted.human> and <tmpl_var timeSubmitted.human> are not consistently used.

In the CS view dateSubmitted.human generates the date, and timeSubmitted.human generates the time, but in the thread view the dateSubmitted.human generates both the date AND the time. The timeSubmitted.human var does not work there.

Imo in both templates the variables should work the same, so in the thread view dateSubmitted.human should generate the date only and timeSubmitted.human should be added.

Thanks in advance.

Really? That's not considered a bug?

It's not broken, it's inconsistent.  That puts it into that grey realm between a bug and an RFE, and the decision was made that it was an RFE.

If you wanted to hack up a patch for it that changed it, updated the template variable help and went through and updated all custom templates in the CS to handle the changes in the template variables, then it would be accepted as an RFE.
