I consider this a bug, but let me know if I'm wrong. I have a recurring event on a calendar to take place every other Friday, starting on April 1 with no end date. I searched the calendar for the event for the dates between April 1 and April 30. My search results display all events from May on, but nothing for April. Do the date fields not restrict the date range of the results? And why didn't the results for April show up in the results?

Two things: Are you certain it isn't showing the events from April?  It may not be ordering them as you expect, but they show up for me.

Are you sure you set the end date properly?  By default, the date in the box is a year in the future.  This caught me when I first tried to reproduce this.

My end date was the same year, and I looked through the list for April events and didn't see any at all... but shouldn't it order them in chronological order anyway? That would be the expected behavior. I'll open a demo and try again today- these bug posts regarding calendar were all from the same asset and I'm wondering if I just had a bad egg :)
