Admin profile does not show (#2607)

IssueThe admin profile doesn't want to show even though is set to public. WebGUI gives a permission denied error when you try to access the admin profile url (which comes from this tmpl var in CS when the admin posts something tmpl_var userProfile.url): ?op=viewProfile;uid=3 This can be reproduced in demo.

This would appear to be because currently, no profiles are ever visible to visitors, which also appears to be intentional. Closing this for now.

Not sure I understand. What appears to be intentional? I find no setting for that

A better question is "Why is it intentional?"

From what I'm seeing, a simple removal of line 280 in WebGUI::Operation::Profile would allow visitors to see public profiles.

However, it would probably be best if there were a configuration value to allow/disallow visitors to view profiles.

Actually, each profile has an option "Make Profile Public" which
indicates whether or not the profile should be seen. This flag should
be used to determine whether or not to display the user's profile.
