Calendar Import Incorrect  (#9850)
Issue

Importing iCal data from Google Calendar does not work properly.  For example, importing the US Holidays feed produces duplicate entries on adjoining days (St. Patty's on the 17th *and* the 18th).  These entries have no times associated with them.

Here's the feed I added:

I can confirm that this is not working correctly.

Created a new calendar.
Added the feed provided by sduensin.
ran the hourly workflow
the calendar displayed Independence Day on July 4 and July 5.

Upon some more checking throughout the calendar it seems every holiday is displayed on the day it occurs and the day immediately following it.

The problem is that the feed from google goes from today, to 12:00am the next day.  They have a different interpretation of dates than we do.

You're kidding. 12:00:00am is the next day. An all-day event lasts from 12:00:00am to 11:59:59 (or :60 in case of leap second) pm.

I'm not kidding.  Google's not kidding.  "Klinger, fix the cake."

I re-read the iCalendar spec, and Google is right: The VEVENT DTEND is non-inclusive (so the event actually really ends a moment before the supplied datetime).

This is against our endDate/endTime which is inclusive (the event ends exactly on the datetime specified).

This doesn't just happen for the holiday import.  If you have two calendars and one imports the iCal feed of the other, all full-day events span two days.  In addition, the main calendar that displays the feed of the "sub" calendar displays the full summary title where the menu title should be.  Hopefully this can be resolved quickly!  (Let me know if this second portion should be opened as a separate bug.  Thanks.)

Yes, please open the second part as its own bug, with details and some online examples, if possible.
