Survey 2.0 - "Cancel" button not working as expected (#9217)

Issue

When you are adding a section/question/answer to survey, if you hit "Cancel" it still adds that section/question/answer to your survey. Furthermore, if you hit "Add Section" and then "Cancel", it causes the edit screen to effectively lock up or time out, and you can no longer click any of the buttons or edit fields. The items you hit "Cancel" on will disappear if you refresh.

perlmonkey2 12/5/2008 5:57 pm	I can repeat the clicking "Add Section" and then "Cancel" and the "New Section" is still left in the left Survey list. But it is only there in that list on the client, and is not really part of the survey. Clicking on another item will cause the list to be redrawn without the aborted section. I can not repeat any of the other items.
daviddelikat 12/10/2008 7:11 pm	I noticed that when you click 'edit survey' it always brings up a form to add a section...
daviddelikat 12/10/2008 8:10 pm	seems to be quite a bit of 'odd' behaviour going on in the survey code... buttons out of order, not displayed, perhaps this has not been tested on firefox?

daviddelikat 12/11/2008 8:42 pm	apparently when parts of a survey are canceled it messes up the data so that most things don't work right.
daviddelikat 12/15/2008 4:35 pm	I don't know what happened to my first survey, but I can't reproduce it. could have been due to side effects from having breakpoints in firebug and messing around while the code was not done working.
