VM Never Releases Memory and May Leak  (#9096)
Issue

While running the VM Appliance supplied by WebGUI (wre-085-webgui-7523-centos-5.zip) unchanged navigating pages used up a lot of memory.  This would not be such a big deal but even after an hour the memory was never released.  Also over the hour I left it running (unused) the system slowly lost memory.  Attached is the script I used to check memory usage and the output it produced.

You can see at the start where it ate up memory while I navigated to through the demo pages and then after that how it slowly ate up memory.

This is a major issue as I have a server running WebGUI right now that keeps crashing because it eventually runs out of memory.  Apparently this is even happening in instances completely fresh and maintained by Plain Black (the VM).

A fix would be greatly appreciated.

After talking to a member on IRC it seems that there is a Apache configuration that eventually limits the memory footprint of each http process.
