Issue

When applying a new invite friend template, the default message shown in the template still is the same. The right message is send in the e-mail.

It looks a bit like another bug:

Solution Summary

Fixed in 7.5.35. The user invite screen is already templated in the new Account in 7.6.

perlDreamer 10/10/2008 9:21 pm	The template only allows you to style the page, not control the content of the form elements. Here are your options: 1) Submit an RFE to allow the default message to be changed. 2) Do not use the messageForm template variable in the invitation template, but build HTML to do the same thing by hand.

bartjol 10/12/2008 11:00 am	Ok, I made a new template, but ran into another problem the templateId is hardcoded in Operation/Invite.pm? This makes it hardly templatable, I don't like editing originals. So, is it an RFE that the template of userInvite is managable in the settings and a method is made for retrieving the set templateId? Or is it a bug that the template Id is hardcoded?
titlandata 10/12/2008 11:50 am	Bartjol, I think its a bug having 1 specific template id hardcoded in the Invite.pm. As you say there should be a field in the User tab of the settings area, that makes you able to set/manage the template.
