Bug Tracker (#8779)

Issue

When you do a search in the Bug Tracker, and then go back to the tickets, it leaves you in the search tab but you lose the list of tickets that you previously searched for.

Solution Summary

The new tabbing feature in the HelpDesk fixes this.

preaction 10/11/2008 10:42 pm	I would consider this a bug. The use of AJAX for everything breaks the browser's back button. If I could use my browser's back button, I would see the list of tickets I previously searched for, as well as the query I had used to search for them.

daviddelikat 6/10/2009 10:21 am	I have not been able to reproduce this, am I supposed to press the 'back' button or the search tab? neither one produces this behavior.
Graham 6/10/2009 10:29 am	Steps to reproduce: Go to http://www.webgui.org/ Click 'Report a Bug' link in sidebar. Click on any of the bugs in the list. Click browser's back button. Expected behavior: You are returned to the bug list. Actual behavior: You are returned to the webgui.org homepage. I would wait to work on this but until after the Help desk is converted to have the tab contents loaded directly instead of via AJAX. That change will likely have some large impacts on how the javascript works, and may even make this bug irrelevant.
